Natural beauty and nourishment are words that come to mind when I think back to my experience at ADLER Spa Resort in the Dolomites. I remember the first time I saw the historical yellow building and walked into its warm and cosy foyer, with a burning fireplace and floor to ceiling glass walls. ALDER Dolomiti is located in Ortisei, a small village in the heart of Val Gardena. At an initial glance, the Resort looks quaint and humble, however there is far more to this romantic Spa Resort than what initially meets the eye.

The AGUANA Wellness World is like a theme park for honeymooners. When you step into the wellness world you can’t help but take a deep breath and relax. You can swim in the whirlpool with a crystal pyramid, soak in the Rasul bath, or swim in the heated outdoor pool overlooking the snow-caped mountains. After swimming, you can lay down in a relax area on a warmed waterbed and rest for as long as you would like, enjoying the soothing sound of a crackling fire.
Saunas

Kraxenofen Sauna
The Finnish red cedar sauna is for those who love the heat. The sauna is located in an alpine hut with organic hay, helping you to deeply relax and ease tension.
Ladies Area & Steam Bath
The ladies area with a rose bath was one of my favourite areas at ADLER Dolomiti, with a ladies only relaxation area and flower steam bath in the rock grotto.
Salt Grotto
The salt water grotto uses warmth, heat and Himalayan salt in its salt stone sauna with dead sea mineral salt cleansing the skin in the regenerating lake.
Mountain air and exhilarating sumits
Not only is ADLER Dolomiti the perfect place to relax, but its natural surroundings are also ideal for couples who want to get active outdoors. With skiing, tobogganing, cycling, alpine climbing and hiking, there are plenty of outdoor activities for you and your new partner to enjoy together, with the help of ALDER’s professional guides.
The Rooms
A blend of tradition and modern comforts characterise the rooms of ADLER Dolomiti. The warm colours and cosy interiors make you feel at home. A highlight for us was opening the door of our balcony to see the stunning Alpine scenery. It simply is spectacular.
